Your Question
Asked By:  Adeyemi
Out of 150 customers in a shop 55 bought both bags and shoes, if all customers bought either bags or shoes and 17 more customers bought shoes than bags. (I) illustrate this information in a Venn diagram (II) find the number of customers who bought shoes
Answer of the Above Question
Answer By: Excellant
Here; B + S - 55 = 150 OR, S + S + 17 - 55 = 150 OR< 2S = 150 + 55 - 17 = 188 OR, S = 94 So, B = 94 + 17 = 111 Here, B stands for bags and S stands for shoes
