Congruent Triangles

animation congruent triangles

Two figures are said to be congruent if either of them covers another completely. There are three theorems for congruency of triangles, viz. SSS Theorem, SAS Theorem and ASA Theorem. Here, S stands for side and A stands for angle. So, you can easily take out the meaning of these abbreviations. If all sides of a triangle are equal to corresponding sides of another triangle, given triangles are congruent. If Two sides and angle included by them of a triangle are equal to two sides and angle included by them of antoher triangle are equal then given triangles are congruent. If two angles and included side of a triangle are equal to two angles and included side of another triangle, then given triangles are congruent.
