Budding is a type of asexual reproduction. It is generally seen in unicellular plants. Yeast reproduces by budding. A small bud grows from yeast. The bud becomes big and then detaches from its mother to become a new individual.

Basically , budding is a mode of asexual reproduction in which new offspring is produced on the organism and after some time it get detached . There are two types of budding [i]Endogenous and (ii)Exogenous.
