THE FOX AND THE SHELLFISH
A fox was fond of eating eggs, because she had developed a taste for eggs. Whenever she saw eggs in the jungle, she took no time in swallowing them up. Once, the fox was walking near a beach when it saw a shellfish. Looking at the round shellfish, the fox thought it to be an egg and immediately gobbled it up. But the shellfish made the fox uncomfortable, causing too much pain in the abdomen. The fox thought, “At least I got a lesson from this, everything round may not be an egg”. The moral of the story is, “When people try to do something which is beyond their comprehension, they often have to face unseen consequences”.
