THE HARES AND THE FOXES
Hares are smart animals and they easily dodge most of their predators. But eagles are probably smarter than hares and easily catch them, while swooping down from the sky. Hares were very much upset as they were unable to save themselves from eagles. They decided to take help from foxes to fight with eagles. Some of the hares went to the foxes and requested them to help in their fight against eagles. The foxes knew how powerful the eagles were, and hence they said, “We know your nature and we also know about eagles. We don’t want to ruin our life by being your allies against the eagles”. The moral of the story is, “It is better to avoid a more powerful enemy than ruining your life”.
