The Farmer and His Dogs
During a severe winter season, a farmer was trapped in his barn. There was no food in the barn but the farmer needed to eat something to remain alive. The farmer first killed the sheep to prepare a meal. Then the farmer killed his goat to have as food. The farmer even killed the oxen who had served him so dutifully. Farmer’s greyhounds were watching all those developments. One of them said to others, “It is high time we should leave this barn. The farmer killed the sheep which gave him wool, killed the goat who gave him milk and killed the oxen who worked so hard in the field. The farmer is not going to spare even us”. The moral of the story is, “You should avoid the person who does not spare even his closest associates”.
