THE RAVEN AND THE SNAKE
A raven was searching for food. It saw a snake was sleeping in the sun. The raven had seen eagles feasting on snakes. The raven also knew that a snake can be fatal for a bird like raven. But the raven thought that a sleeping snake would be as harmless as a caterpillar and would serve as a sumptuous meal. Thinking so, the raven grabbed the snake. The snake twisted its back and took the raven in its stranglehold. The raven could not escape from the grip of the snake. The raven finally died in the grips of the snake. The moral of the story is, “Never attempt to find a treasure which puts your life at stake”.
