THE BOY AND THE SCORPION
A young boy enjoyed catching crickets and putting them in cages. Once, the boy was roaming in a desert and was pursuing his hobby. After collecting many crickets, he noticed a scorpion, and thought it to be another harmless insect like cricket. The boy reached his hand to pick the scorpion from the ground. The scorpion pointed its sting at the boy and was ready to sting him. The boy could not understand the strange behaviour. The scorpion said, “If you will dare to touch me, I shall set both you and your crickets free and you will remember this meeting for your lifetime”. There are different ways of treating different kinds of people. Harmless people should be treated differently than potentially harmful people.
