THE SHEPHERD AND THE WOLF CUBS
Once, a shepherd found some wolf cubs, abandoned in the jungle. He brought them up with due care. He thought that the fully grown wolves would both guard his flock of sheep. He also thought they would steal other people's sheep to bring back to his sheepfold. An animal never gives up its innate nature. When the cubs grew up they became ferocious adult wolves. They started destroying the man’s own flock of sheep. The shepherd was much disheartened and thought that he should have killed those wolves when he found them as cubs. The moral of the story is, “When someone harbors a criminal, he becomes the first victim of that criminal. So you should never harbor a criminal”.
