The surrounding of a living being is called its habitat. A living being shows various features which make it suitable for surviving in a particular habitat. Such features are called adaptations. Polar bears are adapted to live in extreme cold conditions of the North Pole. On the other hand, camels are adapted to live in extremely hot and dry conditions of deserts.
