crane crab

An old crane was so weak he was unable to catch fish. He got an idea to take the fishes for a ride. The crane made a sad face and started crying near the pond. When asked he said that an astrologer had forecasted doom for all creatures. He said that a severe draught would come and life will be impossible in that pond. On being asked the crane said that he would help all fishes to reach a bigger pond with plenty of water. That is how the crane started carrying fishes in the name of taking them to the bigger pond. On the way he used to devour those fishes. One day the crane thought of changing his taste. So he asked a crab to hop on his back. The crab was enjoying flight but he saw heap of fish bones on the ground. He asked the crane about this. The crane told the truth that how he ate all those fishes and now it was the crab’s turn. The crab held the crane’s neck in its claws and killed the crane.
