THE WOLF AND THE SLEEPING LAMB
A lamb was sleeping in front of a barn. A wolf came there and caught hold of the lamb. The lamb said to the wolf, “I am so small and thin that it won’t be enough for you. There is a feast at my owner’s home. Let me eat properly in the feast. I will become plump and fat and then you can enjoy a hearty meal of a lamb”. The wolf left the lamb and decided to come later. After a few days, the lamb was sleeping on the roof. The wolf called the lamb and reminded her about the agreement. The lamb replied from the rooftop, “Next time if you catch me sleeping in the front of the barn, don’t wait for the feast”.
