THE WOLF, THE HORSE AND THE BARLEY
Once, a wolf was crossing through a field. He found some barley in the field. The wolf, being a carnivorous, ignored the barley and moved on. After going for some distance the wolf met a horse. He asked the horse to follow him and led the horse to the field. The wolf said, “Can you see, how much I care for you. I did not eat these barleys and saved them for you. In fact, I love the music when the horse’s teeth grind the barley”. The horse replied, “I know that wolves do not eat barley, otherwise you would not have given preference to your ears over your stomach”. A wicked person is never believed by people even if he tries to become good-natured.
