THE HEN AND THE EGGS
Once, a hen was going through a dense bush. She found a cluster of eggs. Although the hen could recognize that they were the eggs of a snake, yet she decided to take care of those eggs. The hen sat atop the eggs and started brooding on them. In due course of time, the eggs hatched and baby snakes came out of them. The first thing those baby snakes did was biting the hen. The hen died because of snake bite. A swallow had been watching all these developments. The swallow said, “No matter how innocent they look, wicked creatures are always wicked. We should never trust a wicked creature”. The moral of the story is, “You should never show sympathy to a wicked person”.
